Enabling Coastal Marine Strategies to Reach International Commitments

In the “Workshop on Climate, Biodiversity and Marine Conservation in Latin America” in anticipation of COP26, organized by The OA Alliance and The Ocean Foundation, our Representative Matías Alcalde spoke about the Enabling Conditions to establish a Coastal Strategy by 2030, using favorable learning curves from California’s experience.

To achieve Coastal Resilience in Chile, a clear and granular roadmap must be implemented in order to reach international climate commitments by 2030, which by themselves are not enough.
