From Chiloé to Silicon Valley: New Connections for Future Innovation

Last week the CCC hosted Fabián Martinez, the co-founder of PuntajeNacional.cl, and Camilo Navarro and Francisca Barría, the two winners of the national contest “Aprendo Emprendo” designed in conjunction with Universidad Adolfo Ibañez to promote entrepreneurship among the Chilean youth.

Aiming to expose our guests to the many ways that innovation has affected the different sectors of Silicon Valley, the CCC coordinated and led visits at Facebook, Tesla Motors, Baywood Elementary School, and Padlet. More than sightseeing, we hope that the trip has allowed the group to be exposed to engaging conversations where they could exchange experiences and get valuable feedback on their projects.

A big thank you to all of collaborators and friends in the Bay Area who helped us made those visits possible!
