Clean Energy: Why it is important
The climate emergency requires an urgent transition to a cleaner, more sustainable and renewable energy matrix. This area is intended to explore the best public policies and technological solutions to reduce CO2 emissions in electricity generation, transmission, distribution, foster energy efficiency and the green hydrogen strategy, and to promote good practices, consensus mechanisms and innovative designs for the implementation and operation of such policies and technologies.
This area is particularly relevant since the similarities between Chile and California offer similar possibilities in terms of renewable energy generation sources. The foregoing is extremely important for modeling and testing strategies, learning and generating synergies.
