Michael Grasty
Grasty is a Chilean Attorney, graduate from Universidad Catolica’s Law School (1981) and Stanford University (B.A. History ’74). He started the law firm Grasty Quintana Majis & Cia in 1987 and is currently its senior partner. Mr. Grasty specializes in corporate matters, counseling foreign companies looking to do business in Chile, designing their foreign investment strategy and providing general legal counsel for their local subsidiaries. Mr. Grasty has a strong commitment with environmental issues and works closely with WWF, TNC and the Global Ocean Legacy project of the Pew Foundation.
Mr. Grasty is Director of numerous companies, including Empresas Tattersall S.A., Sparta Deportes, David del Curto S.A. and Discovery Air, a Canadian company traded in the Toronto Stock Exchange. He is ex President of AMCHAM Chile, member of the Circulo Legal de Icare, Advisor of Fundación Pais Digital, and Councilor of the Beacheads Advisory Council of the New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.
